Our In-House Photographer's Images Now Available Online
Celeste/Daniels President and in-house photographer Dan Pimentel recently launched a series of photo galleries in a new online "Photo Marketplace" found at cdad.smugmug.com. The galleries offer Pimentel's collections of stock photography to other creatives and the general public. Galleries in the Marketplace currently show Pimentel's images of the Western United States and Canada, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alberta.
The Photo Marketplace is also a means to display Pimentel's theatrical images for sale as fund raising projects for arts organizations. The performing arts galleries display exciting images of Eugene Ballet Company performances at Eugene's Hult Center for the Performing Arts, and Fresno Grand Opera productions at Fresno's William Saroyan Theatre. A generous portion of each gross sale of these theatrical images goes directly back to the organizations as a direct donation.
"I have sold my work internationally for many years," Pimentel said, "but always through a third party broker. This new Marketplace allows me to be the administrator of the galleries, so I gain great flexibility. I still get the worldwide exposure, but now I can deliver a better pricing structure to the agencies and designers who buy my stock images."
