The postcard campaign we developed for Morey's West Coast Adventures was successful in selling their IFR Adventure Flights because as aviators ourselves, we knew exactly what the buyer wanted. These flights are aimed only at pilots who hold an instrument rating, so we knew to use an image of an IFR approach in near minimums weather to catch the reader's eye. This lead image proved to be a key factor in pilots noticing this direct mail piece, and as a result, the company sold out all Adventure Flights for the year.
